Okay...so I changed my mind about journaling for tonight!
As I wrote earlier, I think of offering/being peace as I hold Joyce's idea of "Offering the Cup". If I am truly offering compassion from a place of wholeness and health, then it seems to me...that peace would also be an element of this offering. I was blessed by this video today, and I wanted to share it with others as the day draws to a close.
This whole Cup of Compassion...how perfect to be reading, reflecting on this during Holy Week.
Lord, please, just keep stretching me and opening me so that I might give from my true self without any extra stuff that is "mine." AMEN.

Eli and I ended the evening with the video above. He said, "pretty" about the pictures - "Are they of Jesus?" This is probably more appropriate than us singing "I'll Fly Away" all the way home from Franklin tonight as we prepare for tomorrow's possible tornado weather. We love that song, and it seemed fitting in the car, but I think the one above is a nice reflection.
