Dance, Dance Wherever You May Be!

38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. ~ Romans 8:38-39

Lord of the Dance by Mary O'Hara

I normally think of this song as being a great song to be sung on Easter Sunday, well, today has become my mother-in-law's forever Easter as she left this earth to meet her Savior and all her friends and family who have gone before.

After hearing the news, I made a fast trip through Kroger before coming back home today and began making a stew for dinner and banana bread that can be sliced for breakfast or snacks during the next few days. I've a pork to roast and pull for sandwiches and...

When I called the church earlier this afternoon, I was reminded that I am to be at a presbytery meeting on Saturday.

I had forgotten about presbytery.  ~ sigh ~

Nancy just left. I've still got most of dinner to clean up but suddenly I am very tired.

As my family gathers, and my oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator work to make sure there is always something to eat, .I will prayerfully have moments I am aware of God's refreshing presence and life giving energy.  Prayerfully, I will have moments I can remember some of my own remembrances of my mother-in-law...as I listen to those who come for this celebration of life. Prayerfully, I and my family will remember it is indeed a celebration...

So, tonight, as I begin cleaning my kitchen...again... I'm smiling as I think of my mother-in-law dancing with all the saints in heaven as they are led in the dance by the very Lord of the Dance himself!

How great is that?

Praise God!

Many Blessings ~ Sandi
