Nancy and I took Payton and Cooper to Purdue today for "Meet the Players" and a good old fashioned pep rally.
Of course, we had to update our Purdue gear for the upcoming season!
It was a great day with three of my favorite people.
July 4, 2011
What a wonderful weekend! I have blogged a little about the thought of "the pursuit of happiness". I don't believe I can "pursue" happiness. I believe when I choose to live from an attitude of Gratitude, happiness will pursue me. Well, I am grateful for my family and friends and being able to spend time with them! The "rhyme" of little monkies comes to mind, only...Four little monkies, sitting in a tree...
Thankfully, no one fell out!
Mike and Rebecca have a LARGE play area filled with pea gravel. Cooper was putting his ALL into his work! He was not only dirty, but his cheeks were red as well.
Evan appears to be a watchful cousin. He really is great with the little ones.
This must have been one of Payton's first sparklers this year...she looks a little unsure.
Aaron's blue eyes watching that sparkler...brings a smile.
My Dad and Cooper...are the best of buddies!
It seems so unfair that little boys have the eyelashes any grown woman would kill for!
Happy Anniversary to Mom and Dad!
Looking back at 2010
I decided to download pictures from my camera on to my computer...and have discovered some wonderful memories:
Thanksgiving 2010 - Girls' Day
Our Girls' Day suddenly took on another element when Merlin came in and allowed Payton to "do his nails". I don't know who had more fun, the Girls and I watching or Payton doing!
Happy Mothers' and Fathers' Day! 2011
I wrote on Facebook that my Dad is LOVE. "It is no wonder I have such an image of God the Father," having this man as my earthly dad. But, one reason my Dad is so great, is because I have a great Mom as well! I thank God, for the gift of these two people. I love them... Two wonderful people, a true blessing from God...two of my Favorite People.
My Wonderful Grandkids - Spring 2011
I am blessed and I pray I am a blessing to these four wonderful children.

A Beginning....
In her book, A Tree Full of Angles, Macrina Wierderkehr speaks of the "crumbs" God puts a long my path that nourish me and bless me.
I have people in my life who bless me and who have been important in shaping who I am. This page will be focused on the people I love and the people who are important in my life.
